Students have written the story in their journal from a perspective from one of the "characters" in the video. We listed the possibilities on the board. They included the little girl, the mom, the sister, the owner of the company, and a few imaginative ones like the security camera, the vending machine and the stuffed animal.
Students are to write from the perspective of the character they choose using words like " I, me, mine" to indicate that the character who is telling the story is in the story.
